Dr. Emini holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Mathematics and Philosophy from Fairfield University and earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. 

Dr. Emini has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to education and healthcare, including being named the Outstanding Resident Teacher in 2024.

Dr. Emini is fluent in Albanian and Spanish.
